full spectrum doula support and placenta services for any and all families
Since she was a child, Kinsey had always been fascinated by the transformational nature of birth and the postpartum period. And after witnessing the birth of her nephew as a teenager, she decided to officially pursue a career working with families and young children in the intimate sphere. Her specific focus shifted to postpartum doula work after achieving her degree in social work. She is trained as a Postpartum Doula with ProDoula and Placenta Encapsulation with BEST, and is committed to creating a safe space for all birthing persons, regardless of circumstance and preferences, to experience the highs and lows of the postpartum journey. Kinsey has experience creating nutritious postpartum meals and providing a wide range of support– her goal is to nurture birthing partners so that they may feel mentally, emotionally & physically supported in achieving their ideal postpartum experience. When Kinsey isn't supporting clients, she is exploring, swimming, eating delicious food, learning to weave, and seeking out live music.
The 4th trimester can be a thrilling and blissful time, for new and seasoned parents alike! My role as your postpartum doula is to empower your choices, support informed decisions, nurture your new family, and provide helpful information for newborn care and breastfeeding basics. Day time and night time support can be beneficial to the whole family and can be tailored to your needs.
Placenta encapsulation is a magical service that turns your placenta into an easy to use product such as pills, tinctures, and salves. Most postpartum families want placenta products for increased milk supply, improved mood, increased energy, replenished iron supply, and decreased bleeding. As your placenta encapsulator, I will always prioritize safety and cleanliness when processing your placenta. I can create a wonderful bundle of healing products in addition to cord keepsakes and placenta prints unique to you.
A delicious home-cooked meal can turn even the most frustrating days around. Focusing on nutritious and healing ingredients, I will bring pre-made, or almost made meals, so that you can focus on bonding with your new family. This is for the family needing a little extra support while transitioning, either with a newborn, going back to work, moving houses, or illness. Dishes and cleanup included.
